Our slogan . . . "Before they become legends." Well, it's no secret that the top kids in America that play the Blues at a national and international level have come through Blues Camp. Don't believe me, ask Buddy Guy [the] next time you see him. Yet, even more impressive is when I, Fernando Jones, see our alumni in action. Yesterday, I got a call from Branford Parker, who is now in his second year at Jackson State Univeristy in Mississippi, just got finished filming his trumpet solo for the October 2014 release of the James Brown bio-picture.
